Here at AFT Distillery, we are proud to be the first and only fruit to bottle Edelbrand distillers in the Great State of Texas.

Our Award-winning Edelbrand is a premium fruit brandy made in Luling, Texas according to centuries old tradition handed down through generations of artisan distillers living in the Austrian Alps.

Edelbrand is as pure as it gets. The only things added to our fruit brandy is Austrian Heritage and Texas Pride.

It doesn't get any more genuine than this.

Catching the essence of the fruit within the delicious, clear distillate in small batch production, we strive for excellent quality and award winning smoothness and flavor.

We then take all three and age them with white oak. This takes all of our brandies in three totally different directions. A sure surprise to all of the Whiskey, Scotch and Bourbon drinkers out there.

Alexandra entered the prestigious 2022 American Craft Spirit Competition and walked away with not 1, not 2, not even 3 but 6, yes 6 medals out of the 21 in total.

She has one again proven, without a doubt, that she is the top fruit brandy distiller in North America.

Austrian Farms of Texas (AFT) Distillery takes the rarest and purest of Fruit Brandies, Edelbrand, where no one has gone before and announces the release of the first limited edition of 93Proof oak aged Alpengold Cherry Edelbrand.

Commonly bottled at 77 – 84Proof the latest batch of the Alpengold Texas Oak Reserve Cherry Brandy resulted in such extraordinary taste and smoothness, that Alexandra Cantwell, the Edelbrand Master Distiller, decided on doing something revolutionary: to reserve a small amount at the strength of 93 proof for a special and very limited release.

AFT Distillery is known by worldwide connoisseurs to make the rarest and hardest to produce kind of Fruit Brandy, called “Edelbrand” (=literally translated Noble Brandy) in smallest batches.

The hallmark of Edelbrand is that it is made only from the whole fruit (in case of the cherry up to 24 pounds per 375ml bottle) without ANY addition of base alcohol, sugar, or any other enhancements. Whole fruit, yeast, water. Period.

The resulting product is the purest and most aromatic kind of Fruit Brandy there is and,for centuries, only made in the alpine regions of Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

Since 2017 AFT Distillery produces this little known gem right here in Texas.

Aged partly clear or with American White Oak and bottled at 82Proof their award winning Alpengold Apple, Williamspear and Cherry Brandy gained national notoriety and is sought after and coveted worldwide.

Official release date will be Dec. 18th, 2021. The gates will be open at the distillery in Luling, Texas from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Price $149.90 per 750ml bottle. Limit 2 bottles per person.
